Father Time is a godlike being associated with the anthropomorphic personifications of the years, perhaps himself the personification of time. The Fate Spider is also responsible to him, and Uncle Time is his brother. He appears as a giant floating head or disembodied narration or dialogue, and seems to possess knowledge about various things beyond what a normal person could be expected to have access to. He only cares about time running smoothly; other than that, he is indifferent, except towards the Dutch, whom he dislikes.
